Moody receives charge-free recycling

Steve Quinn, Green Way Services general manager, Elvis Lane, 23d Civil Engineer Squadron base recycling program manager, and U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Juan Alvarez, 23d CES commander, hold up a memorandum of understanding Dec. 18, 2012, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The 23d CES and Green Way Services negotiated an agreement for Moody to receive recycling services at no charge, saving $235,000 annually. The agreement helps prevent recyclables from going to landfills and allows Moody to do so at no cost. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman Paul H. Francis/Released)
