Moody inspires next generation
U.S. Air Force Capt. Stephanie Stewart, 71st Rescue Squadron HC-130J Combat King II aircraft commander, teaches a child how to use a yoke on an HC-130J aircraft during the Youth Open House at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, March 12, 2022. On Sept. 6, 2019, six Airmen from the 347th Rescue Group completed the HC-130J Combat King II aircraft’s first flight to be operated by an all-female aircrew. The Youth Open House culminated Women In Aviation Week and was aimed to connect a younger generation to Airmen and inspire them for careers in airpower leading to a more diverse and effective Air Force in the future.
