75th AMU Equips combat-ready A-10's
Airmen assigned to the 75th Aircraft Maintenance Unit install the GAU-8 Avenger’s timing gears on an A-10C Thunderbolt II, Oct. 1, 2020, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The GAU-8 is the A-10’s primary weapon system and requires a full inspection after firing 25,000 rounds.
