23d Wing Public Affairs
"Spirituality is transcendent in nature. We understand that not everyone see themselves in the same way on a spiritual plane but the way we see spirituality suggests it taps into the very essence of life. There is something about the spiritual nature of a person that invariably affects their resiliency and we see our role as very vital to the strength and well-being of all our Airmen." "Oh, without a doubt working with people who are in a crisis, on a one-on-one and seeing a little bit of that burden lifted off their shoulders as they walk out is a good feeling." "As the senior religious support team ... we don't do anything in isolation when it comes to our delivery of spiritual care. We are almost like conjoined twins." (Lt. Col. Kim Bowen and Master Sgt. John Davis, senior religious support team from the 23d Wing Chapel)
