AMU readies HC-130 for upgrade

Airmen with the 71st Aircraft Maintenance Unit remove cargo floor panels during preparation of an HC-130J Combat King II for a situational awareness communication upgrade (SACU) modification Sept. 25, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The panels are removed to allow access to the area inside the aircraft where the SACU will be installed. This SACU will enhance the aircraft’s ability to communicate with personnel on the ground during search and rescue operations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Erick Requadt)
