93d AGOW weathermen forecast desert success

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Kristopher Day-Bottai, 3d Air Support Operations Group weather forecaster, discusses the importance of providing Army assets with accurate weather during an interview for pre-deployment training at Ft. Irwin, California’s National Training Center, Feb. 21, 2018. During their month-long NTC rotation, Air Force weather assets from the 93d Air Ground Operations Wing advised, trained and assisted Army units to exploit weather and environmental conditions as they battled mock adversaries. As the Army’s sole weather support asset, the training maximized integration in a hostile environment to enhance interoperability and assure mission success.
