Air Force professionals involved in the communities where they live become front-line ambassadors for the Air Force. Through active programs, the Air Force demonstrates it is a community partner and a responsible steward of resources.
MOODY’S COMMUNITY ENGAEMENT OBJECTIVES
BASE TOUR REQUESTS
Base tours tell a portion of the Air Force story to visitors and highlight the Air Force mission, traditions, and heritage. They are tailored to coincide with the interests of different demographics while not compromising mission requirements.

BASE SHADOW REQUESTS
The 23d Wing Public Affairs Base shadow program is an opportunity for Moody Airmen to inspire, mentor and grow the potential Airmen of tomorrow. The program allows high school juniors, seniors and college students to follow a military person in a particular career field around for the day and gain valuable knowledge about the Air Force and specific AFSCs. The 23d Wing Public Affairs Office will facilitate the fulfillment of theses request in accordance with the following policy and process:

SPEAKER REQUESTS Facilitating speaker requests for community events allows our members to dialogue with local organizations and give communities more insight on Air Force roles, mission, overall capabilities and the Airmen who make up the Air Force. AERIAL SUPPORT REQUESTS Aerial support requests can include airshows, event flyovers and static displays. Static displays allow the public to experience an up-close and personal view of our equipment and weapons systems and increase their knowledge and understanding of the Air Force mission. The 23d Wing Public Affairs Office will facilitate the fulfillment of theses request in accordance with the following policy and process: Policy:

Privacy Act Statement
AUTHORITY: Title 10 United States Code 8013, Secretary of the Air Force and AFI 35-105.
PURPOSE: The contact information requested from each individual will be used to facilitate the coordination of their request and to ensure positive contact can be maintained throughout the execution of their event.
ROUTINE USES: The information provided will be used by designated public affairs officials to ensure communication and coordination of customer requests is effectively maintained throughout the duration of their event. Individual contact information may be occasionally shared at higher Air Force levels to ensure effective communication and coordination are maintained in support of customer requests.
DISCLOSURE: Mandatory. Failure to provide contact information will result in request not being considered.
